Wynter Spears is a stand up comedian and actor originally from Chicago, currently living in Los Angeles. She has hosted for and shared the stage with such comedy greats as Janelle James, Kira Soltanovich, Jackie Fabulous, Zach Galifianakis, Whitney Cummings, Paul Reiser and Jay Leno. She has featured on the road for Jackie Kashian and Maria Bamford.
Wynter Spears is an actor and comedian who was drawn to stand up because it felt like a natural evolution as an artist to tell her own story through comedy; once she got her first laugh, she was hooked. She’s done stand up at venues all over LA, including Dynasty Typewriter, The World Famous Comedy Store, the Hollywood Improv and Flappers. Her festival appearances include the L.A. Diversity in Comedy Festival presented by Second City, the Laugh Riot Grrrl Comedy Festival, the Tucson Comedy Arts Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, the Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival in San Francisco, the Lysistrata Comedy Festival in Austin, TX and the Lady Laughs Comedy Festival in Wisconsin. She has shared the stage with such comedy greats as Jackie Kashian, Tracey Ashley, Laurie Kilmartin, Janelle James, Zach Galifianakis, Jackie Fabulous, Whitney Cummings, Brian Kiley, Paul Reiser and Jay Leno (he even said she’s funny!!).
